Alex Sykes

Alex, 38, is a thoughtful Co-Host and autistic contributor on Resilience Coaching Collective from Cleveland, Ohio. A talented pianist with a Performance Degree from Oberlin College (2007),

Alex uses music as a powerful tool for neurodivergent advocacy and awareness.

His passions include detailed drawing (animals and dinosaurs), birdwatching (naming every visitor to his backyard), and building an impressive collection of over 50 model airplanes, tanks, and Transformers. As a young inventor, he once sent a Transformer toy idea to Hasbro—they responded encouragingly, and the framed letter hangs in his dad’s Sarasota art gallery.

Alex brings honest reflections on societal fears, injustices, and communication challenges, reminding us that emotions tied to real struggles are valid and deserve compassionate space. His voice fosters stigma-free belonging and collective resilience.
