Aaron Freed

Aaron is a 42-year-old neurodivergent advocate and recurring voice on Spectrum Speaks, offering sharp insights into emotions as legitimate signals of injustice, grief, and societal barriers. A Tallahassee, FL, resident, he holds a BA in Political Science (Florida Atlantic University, 2008) and a BS in Cybersecurity (University of South Florida, 2021). As an independent contractor with Behavioral Teaching Solutions, Aaron focuses on bridging communication between neurodivergents and neurotypicals, passionately sharing his lived experiences to foster understanding and resilience. Outside advocacy, he’s a prolific, classically trained composer, arranger, and amateur game developer (credits include Eternal X and Tempus Irae Redux for the Marathon series). His hobbies span music remastering, writing essays on neurodivergent communication, and tackling coding challenges, including completing Advent of Code in Rust. #NeurodivergentCommunication
